'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 3 Spoilers: Pride Seeks Answers on Plane Crash Tragedy; Search is Still On for Brody's Replacement

In the next episode of "NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3, the NCIS will team up with the FBI in the investigation of a plane crash where foul play was detected. The case could possibly have a link to the cartel.

In the episode "NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3 episode titled "Course Correction", the plane crash which claimed three casualties who are all sailors, could also be linked to another open case reports The Futon Critic. Meanwhile, Sonja (Shalita Grant) and Lasalle (Lucas Black) begin interviewing applicants at the headquarters for the team's open agent position formerly held by Special Agent Meredith Brody (Zoe McLellan).

In earlier episodes of "NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3 episodes, FBI Special Agent Tammy Gregorio (Vanessa Ferlito) appeared to be Brody's replacement. But, in the coming episode, the team will still be on the lookout for someone to replace her.

The last episode of "NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3 ended with the kidnapping of forensic scientist Sebastian Lund (Rob Kerkovich). The team went on a furious hunt to find one its own with Pride (Scott Bakula) himself determined to track down whoever is responsible for the kidnapping. Sebastian was eating at a local restaurant with his mom Sylvia (Wendie Malick) when he was abducted.

In a recent interview with Parade, Kerkovich revealed that his character was kidnapped because he was really good at playing a video game. His kidnappers wanted him to use his skills with the said game to break their friend out of prison. The "NCIS: New Orleans" actor also revealed that aside from being kidnapped, his character was also thrown in an actual prison which became more terrifying for Kerkovich.

In the same interview about the "NCIS: New Orleans" episode, Kerkovich said that more insight on Sebastian's back story was highlighted with the introduction of his mother. Through her, viewers were able to understand why Sebastian turned out to be who is.

New episodes of "NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3 are aired Tuesdays on CBS.
