'Final Fantasy 7 Remake' Release Date, News & Update: Delays Due to New Battle System? Additional Game Details Arriving in February 2017?

Fans are hungry for details about the new "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" that has no release date stamped on it yet. While Square Enix is keeping mum on any details surrounding the upcoming remake, fans are already speculating that additional game details are arriving in February 2017, during MAGIC. MAGIC or the Monaco Anime Game International Conferences will take place early next year, and Tetsuya Nomura will be there.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, MAGIC event organizers have in fact mentioned both "Kingdom Hearts 3" and "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" in relation to the highly anticipated convention. Nomura said, however, that he won't be letting us in any more information about the "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" until "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" arrives in January 2017.

On a different note, it seems that "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" will feature a new battle system that's more of an action style gameplay compared to its predecessors. The current "Final Fantasy" games feature an active-time battle (ATB) game system which fans are already supporters of.

It would be interesting to see how "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" would change things up and introduce a new battle system. Fans are also speculating that the delay and lack of information on the game may be attributed to the new battle system.

In other "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" news, those who are looking forward to "Final Fantasy 15" would be happy to know that it will be supporting HDR for Xbox One S. Those who are looking to play the game on Xbox One S can now enjoy HDR support thanks to Microsoft. PlayStation 4 already has HDR support for "Final Fantasy 15," which arrives this November.

"Final Fantasy 7 Remake" isn't arriving anytime soon, but "Final Fantasy 15" is arriving to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 29. Check out the video below and comment on what you'd like to see in both games on its releases.
