'Battlefield 1' Latest News & Updates: Spine-Tingling Anti-War Video Game That Conveys a Deep Message

"Battlefield 1" is dubbed as one of the most realistic first-person shooter games ever created. From the revolutionary graphics to the sheer intricacy of the maps, each element serves players to make them feel like they are going through a part of history.

The game is almost the same as the film "Saving Private Ryan", specifically the scene when sniper Private Daniel Jackson strikes down soldier after soldier from a clocktower post until the turret of a German Tiger tank turned to him and in that moment knew he was going to die. He then warned his comrade until he vanished into a fireball, as described by The Verge.

"Battlefield 1" is equally spine-tingling and horrifying that is considered an anti-war game where the loss of human life is not treated as the game's cessation but as a message with deep understanding in today's major concern on people fighting against each other.

There are a lot of things to commend about "Battlefield 1" such as the jaw-dropping skyscapes over the Venetian Alps and the sweeping sandstorms of the Ottoman-controlled Sinai Peninsula. The heart pounding battle within the chaotic environment drives the player to fight just to stay alive.

With its levelling system, kill counters and upgradable firearm cache are one of the games' supreme achievements which in general convey an anti-war tone. While it feels good to shoot down a foe, "Battlefield 1" reminds players of the dehumanizing phase of war and the irrational scheme it replicates.

"Battlefield 1" is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Despite its name, it is the fifteenth installment in the Battlefield series and the first main entry in the series since Battlefield 4.

"Battlefield 1" is also the first World War I video game published by Electronic Arts since "Wings of Glory" in 1994. The game was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 21, 2016.
