Thatgamecompany's Flower Coming To PlayStation Vita

In an interesting but premature announcement, IndieCade in its E3 lineup, has apparently included thatgamecompany's Flower as coming to the PlayStation Vita. The game, released in 2009, has so far been a PlayStation 3 exclusive.

Flower will soon be able to take advantage of the touch-screen and motion-sensing powers of PS Vita. The game will be showcased at its booth during the upcoming E3 and will be available to play, IndieCade's press release says.

"Using simple touch or motion controls, the player guides the lead petal and accumulates a swarm of flower petals as he moves at his own pace within the environment, causing the on-screen world to change," the Flower Vita description reads.

The game that contains no text or dialogue, was designed by Jenova Chen and thatgamecompany, which later developed the award-winning title Journey. The developer is currently working on a new game which will be self-published with a $5.5 million venture capital investment.

IndieCade's E3 lineup includes two Vita games - Hohokum from Honeyslug and Flower Vita. The company will also feature games for mobile, PC, PlayStation Vita and the Sifteo Cube platforms. Here is the complete E3 lineup from IndieCade (via Polygon):
