With less than a week left before Thanksgiving, players are awaiting the massive "Pokemon Go" Thanksgiving update to push through. However, there are reports making its round on the internet saying that "Pokemon Go" Thanksgiving update will not push through.

The reason behind the "Pokemon Go" Thanksgiving update cancellation is because Niantic has allegedly decided to integrate all the "Pokemon Go" updates in December. Niantic has yet to confirm or deny the postponement of "Pokemon Go" Thanksgiving update.

'Pokemon Go' Thanksgiving Update: New Wearable Launched?

"Pokemon Go" players who have yet to get their hands on "Pokemon Go" Plus know for a fact that the said wearable device/accessory is a rare gem to find these days. The company has allegedly akcknowledged the shortage of stocks of "Pokemon Go" Plus and has issued an apology to the consumers.

While Niantic has stated that they were overwhelmed by the "Pokemon Go" Plus demand and were not prepared for the surge of sales, an insider from Niantic seems to have a contradicting statement. According to reports, an insider from Niantic revealed that the shortage of "Pokemon Go" Plus is intentional and is a strategy for the product to become phased out.

Once the last batch of "Pokemon Go" Plus have been dispatched and sold, Niantic will reportedly release the new set of "Pokemon Go" Plus accesspory that is equipped with VR-features. The said reports make a lot of sense considering that "Pokemon Go" Plus seems to be an endangered species lately.
