Diablo 4 Rumors News And Updates: Blizzard Secretly Working On the Sequel, Already Assigned A Director

Diablo 4 is one of the most anticipated sequels today. From the looks of it, Blizzard is currently committed to supporting Diablo 3 with a planned release of the necromancer. But behind the scenes in Blizzard, the company might have already begun work on the sequel based on some changes in the company.

Just recently, Blizzard has announced a change on their MOBA game Heroes of the Storm. The former director for Heroes of the Storm Dustin Browder will be replaced by 20-year Blizzard employee Alan Dabiri. What's interesting about this switch is that Dustin Browder will now work with a new game. That new game could very well be Diablo 4.

Dustin Browder has worked in previous Blizzard games as lead designer of Starcraft 2 and game director of Heroes of the Storm. It would be unwise for Blizzard to fire Dustin Browder given his success in both games. At the same time, Blizzard wont be giving Dustin Browder a job that has little resposibilites and power. A talented man in Dustin Browder is best suited in overseeing the overall development of the game. And not just any game, given his experience in producing top notch games in Starcraft 2 and Heroes of the Storm Dustin Browder will be most effective if he in charge of an important franchise for Blizzard. That game is Diablo 4.

Dustin Browder is the best man in charge for Diablo 4 based on his work with Starcraft 2 and Heroes of the Storm. Features a ton of units on the screen at the same time with the player controlling an army with some special units that have abilities that the player must activate in certain times to help in combat. Meanwhile, in Heroes of the Storm, players control a single character with several abilities to be used against your opponent's character who also has their own set of abilities. It's clear that a lot of the mechanics in these games are similar to the Diablo games. Diablo games focus on the player's character and his/her use of abilities to kill enemies in the most efficient way. Dustin Browder's work on Starcraft 2 and Heroes of the Storm will certainly help him in his development for Diablo 4.

If rumors are true for Diablo 4, expect players to have a good director on board the development. Stay tuned for more news.
