‘Hitman’ Latest News & Update: Elusive Target 16 — The Guru — Now Live; Mission Runs Until Dec. 23

The sixteenth Elusive Target in the episodic action/adventure stealth video game "Hitman" has been identified and is now live in "Hitman Episode 2: Sapienza" across all platforms. The Elusive Target this time is Richard J. Magee, aka The Guru, who will be in Sapienza for a week.

To complete The Guru mission, "Hitman" players must eliminate Magee. Players have a limited time to take down the target, and because he can only be killed once and intel is limited, the mission must be carefully planned. There will be no second chances to eliminate The Guru; when the time runs out, he is gone for good.

To further complicate things, the new "Hitman" Elusive Target mission has a couple of fail conditions. The Guru's mark, Keith Keeble, is the son of an influential family who wants him freed from Magee's influence. Keeble must not be harmed, injured, or subdued. A window of opportunity to eliminate The Guru will be presented via a meeting set up by Katherine Feller, a specialist in conflict negotiation and a partner at Vulkova and Partners. Players must also avoid harming, injuring, or subduing Feller while they attempt to take Magee out or the mission will be a permanent failure.

To take on the new mission, players must own "Hitman Episode 2: Sapienza." A briefing video for Elusive Target 16 has been released online and will be available in-game to guide players in determining the target's approximate location. Players should note that as with all Elusive Targets, instinct mode and minimap markers will be disabled in Elusive Target 16. The mission window for "Hitman" Elusive Target 16 began on Friday, Dec. 16, and will run until 8 a.m. EST on Friday, Dec. 23.

Meanwhile, "Holiday Hoarders," the "Hitman" Christmas mission in which the targets are the "Wet Bandits" from the 1990 Christmas film "Home Alone," went live on Tuesday, Dec. 13, and is free for all players of the game. "Hitman" is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
