Wii U, Nintendo 3DS Games Discounted To 50% In Amazon; No More Wii U Game After 'Legend Of Zelda' Version

Wii U deals are currently all over Amazon along with Nintendo 3DS discounted games. The games range from $19.99 for the Nintendo 3DS and $38.99 on the Wii U. On the other hand, a Nintendo boss has revealed that there will no longer be anymore Wii U games to be launched after "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild."

Super Smash Bros. Price Slashed At Amazon

Significant price cuts for both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games have been spotted all over Amazon. It has been revealed that Amazon persists as one of the best online retailers of video games in the video game dealing industry. Wii U gamers, among others are said to keep coming back to the Amazon website for more deals on the consoles, accessories, games and bundles that they are looking for.

On that note, the Wii U version of "Mario Kart 8" has undergone a price rollback for only $49.99. Moreover, Amazon is also offering the "Paper Mario: Color Splash" on the Wii U for only $39.99, Gaming Guide Tips reported. In addition, "Super Smash Bros." price on the Wii U has also gone down to only $38.99.

More Wii U games are found on the Amazon website. In addition, the Nintendo 3DS games on Amazon are notably cheaper than the Wii U games. Note that "Bravely Second: End Layer" has rolled back to $19.99. Pokemon lovers may also opt to get the "Pokemon Alpha Sapphire" for the same price. Additionally, "Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice" comes cheaper right now for only $18.47 while "Monster Hunter Generations" now cost only $20.10.

Wii U is Dying

In other news, Nintendo has recently confirmed that after the release of their last game, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" for the Wii U, the console will be effectively dead. Moreover, there will no longer be any first-party development for the Wii U, Pocket-Lint reported.

The Wii U is already at the end of its life apparently as the Nintendo America boss Reggie Fils-Aime confirmed the rumors in an interview. However, the 13 million Wii U owners have been assured that online services will not be cut off. Nintendo is also expected to continue selling the existing Wii U stock.
