Samsung Launches Pink Galaxy Note 8 in Taiwan

In a recent report, Samsung announced that the Galaxy Note 8 will be available in four color options; Orchid Gray, Midnight Black, Maple Gold, and Deep Sea Blue. So far, the flagship phablet is available in only these colors. Now, the company has launched a new Pink color option of the Galaxy Note 8.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8: Star Pink Color

The new color is dubbed as Star Pink on Samsung's official Taiwan website. So it will more likely to be available only in Taiwan. Also, Taiwan will get the Maple Gold color option, which is not available anywhere else currently. Additionally, Samsung has unveiled a Rose Pink variant for the Galaxy S8 Plus too.

This new color option "Star Pink" or "Star Powder Galaxy Note 8 is thankfully only different in that regard. However, instead of just having the back cover in pink, both sides and buttons of the handset are all in pink as well. The camera area is, sadly, all black and the S Pen matches the phone's color, so it's also pink.

Galaxy Note 8 comes with a 6.3-inch, Quad-HD+ Super AMOLED screen Infinity Display. Powered by Samsung Exynos 8895 processor coupled with 6 of RAM and 64 gig of built-in storage. As reported, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is the first Samsung smartphone to come with a dual-camera set-up. Sports a 12MP wide-angle and 12MP telephoto lens.

Both of these comes with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) to reduce blur when capturing video and photographs in low light and an 8MP Smart Auto camera for sharp selfies and video chats. Supports Fast charging and wireless charging. Keeping the power on is a 3300mAh battery and is expected to run Android Nougat. According to the reports, the Galaxy Note 8 price will cost around $929. The release date is set for Sept. 15.
