Aside from surviving by gathering resources, building shelters, crafting equipment, and fending off wild animals, players in Icarus will also need to clear a set of Prospect Missions in order to progress in the multiplayer online survival game.

One of them is the "Resurgence: Bio-Research," where they need to collect several Bio-Sample in both the Forest and Arctic biomes.

Preparations

Much like other Prospect Missions in Icarus, players need to prepare several equipment and items that they will use to progress in the "Resurgence: Bio-Research" mission.

According to eip.gg, they need to craft the basic tools such as the bow with its arrows and knife, as well as a cloth armor, and repair hammer.

Considering that they are traveling from one biome to another biome, and they will encounter wild animals, they will need the bow and arrow in their inventory.

They will also need to craft the parts for their portable shelter, as well as the bedroll, all of which they can use to build a temporary shelter which they can use as their spawn point.

Other optional equipment items that they need to craft include a pickaxe and an axe which they can use to mine several stones and harvest wood to craft extra amounts of arrows and campfire, as well as oxygen bladders and waterskins.

They can also collect extra food such as cooked meat, fish, and berries, to restore their health and stamina while travelling.

Once they have prepared the equipment, they head towards their dropship, and accept the mission in order to drop them in the Forest biome.

How to Clear Resurgence: Bio-Research

Once they are in the drop-off point, they will need to open their maps and saw an area in the northeast that was highlighted by a yellow circle. The said area, according to itemlevel.net, is in the point within M11.

Once they saw the said area in the map, they will start running towards the area. As they are running, they can collect several resources and materials to craft extra items such as arrows, as well as to craft a campfire to cook extra food.

Aside from the campfire, they can build their temporary shelter in a point in order to have a spawn point ready just in case.

Then, they will continue running until they are in the highlighted area in their map, and saw a large rock that is in the north of the lake.

They will go towards the southeastern part of the rock until they saw a flower in the midst of a green patch full of weeds. They will interact to it to collect their first Bio-Sample for the mission.

Then, they will go a second highlighted area in the map within the point O8 by following the western bank of the river north. Then, they will go around a moderately sized boulder until they see weird tendrils that are going into the river.

They will go behind the said rock, until they saw a deer corpse, which they need to interact in order to collect the second Bio-Sample.

Then, they will go towards the south at the area within the point O12, which is the transition point from the Forest biome to the Arctic Biome.

Considering that they will be entering the Arctic Biome, they need to store extra food, as well as collected enough amounts of oxides, or have a number of oxygen bladders, in order to survive.

They will also need to have their bow and arrows ready as they will face wolves and bears while going towards the said area.

Once they are in the area within the point O11, they can build another temporary shelter to establish another respawn point. Then, they will head towards the highlighted area in the map within the point N14.

The final Bio-Sample is in a pit of snow, which is further south from the first pit, but they need to be careful while going down as falling into a pit can hurt them badly. Once they are on the bottom, they look for the sample, which is in the withering small plants.

Once they got the final Bio-Sample, they need to get out of the pit, then head towards the area between the points M14 and L14, all while avoiding a potential bear attack. Afterwards, they will run towards the drop-off point, ride the dropship, and complete the Prospect Mission.
