In Icarus, players are given the chance to craft several materials and equipment in order to use them to hunt food, gather resources, or craft other items that are essential in their survival in the multiplayer online survivor game.

One of said materials that can be crafted in the game is tree sap, which is a major ingredient in creating epoxy, an adhesive that they can use to craft upper-tier items like the machining bench, which they will use to do guns, armor, and steel tools.

How to Craft the Tree Sap

In order to create the tree sap in Icarus, they need to craft several equipment that can manufacture said material, starting with the crafting bench.

The said Tier 2 equipment, according to PC Gamer, can be unlocked if they will reach Level 10.

Once they got the blueprint, they can craft it using 12 pieces of fiber, 20 pieces of sticks, 50 pieces of wood, and 12 pieces of stone.

Fiber can be harvested by picking plants such as fern, while sticks and wood can be found on trees. Stones, on the other hand, can be easily be picked on the ground.

They can also have the pieces of sticks by putting several pieces of wood in the carpentry bench, which according to vg247.com, they can craft by using 120 copper nails, 12 pieces of rope, and 80 pieces of wood.

After crafting it, they will use the crafting table to craft the mortar and pestle, another Tier 2 equipment, which according to Gosunoob.com, needs 4 silica ores and 12 pieces of stone.

Once they got the said item, they can start producing tree sap. To produce this, they need to interact with the mortar and pestle that is placed on the ground, then according to Pro Games Guide, they will use four pieces of sticks in the equipment. Then, they will wait for a few minutes until they got the tree sap.

Where to use the Tree Sap

Once they got the said material, they can now craft other materials that required tree sap, including epoxy, which as mentioned earlier, can be used in making guns.

To do this, they need to mine at least 2 sulfurs, which can be mined on the ground using pickaxes, as well as 4 tree saps.

Once they got the epoxy, according to eip.gg, they can use it in crafting pistols (6 pieces of wood, 8 pieces of leather, 20 steel ingots, 8 steel screws, and 4 epoxy), bolt action rifles (12 pieces of wood, 8 pieces of leather, 40 steel ingots, 10 steel screws, and 4 epoxy), and shotguns (12 pieces of wood, 8 pieces of leather, 26 steel ingots, 10 steel screws, and 4 epoxy).

Tree saps can also be used in making concrete mixes, which they will need to use 1 of the said material, as well as 8 stones, and 4 silica, and placing them all on the cement mixer, which needs 50 pieces of wood, 40 stones, 20 iron ingots, 8 pieces of rope, and 8 iron nails.

Once they have the said material, they can use the concrete mixes to make concrete-based building pieces, as well as concrete furnaces and fabricators.
