Konami announced that Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duels launched its "Xyz Festival" event.

The limited-time in-game event will allow the players to build decks that focus only on Xyz Summoning or summoning monsters from the Extra Deck after overlaying monsters that have the same level.

During the event, according to WePC, they will receive Medals after participating in a duel, no matter if they win, lose, or draw.

For every number of Medals earned, they will be rewarded with items such as Gems or Xyz Reward Tickets.

Best Decks to Build

There are many Xyz-centric decks that players can do for Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel's Xyz Festival

One of them is the Rank 10 Trains deck that, according to VG247.com, focuses on spamming Rank 10 Xyz Machine-type Monsters to the field.

One of the stars of this deck is Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Juggernaut Liebe, a Rank 11 Machine-type Xyz Monster with 4000 ATK and DEF and can be Xyz Summoned by using a Rank 10 Machine-type Xyz Monster they control on the field.

This card can gain 2000 ATK and DEF once per turn if they detach one Xyz material from it and make attacks on monsters up to the monsters it had and its normal attack.

Another important card in this deck is Number 81: Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Super Dora, a Rank 10 Machine-type Xyz Monster with 3200 ATK and 4000 DEF that needs two Level 10 Monsters.

Once per turn, the controller of this card can detach one material from this card then target a face-up monster on the field. That target will be unaffected by card events, except its own, until the end of this turn.

Finally, another Xyz Monster that is needed in this deck is Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max, another Rank 10 Machine-type Xyz Monster, but it has 3000 ATK and DEF. It can inflict 2000 damage to their opponent if they detach one material from it.

To summon them easily from the Extra Deck, they needed cards such as Night Express KnightSuper Express Bullet Train, and Heavy Freight Train Derricrane to swarm the field.

Supplementing this deck is the Infinitrack cards such as Infinitrack Tunneler, which brings back five Earth Machine-type monsters from the Graveyard to the Deck, along with Infinitrack TrencherInfinitrack Brutal Dozer, and Infinitrack Harvester.

Finally, for the Monsters, they can add in Flying Pegasus Railroad Stampede as it can Special Summon an Earth Machine-type monster from the Graveyard to the field while it can manipulate the Level of another monster they control.

For the Spells, cards like Special ScheduleUrgent Schedule, and Revolving Switchyard can help them add the cards they need to their hand or field.

Another Xyz-centric deck that they can build is Paleo Frog, a deck that focuses on two archetypes, Paleozoic, a series of Trap Monsters with unique effects, and Frogs, Aqua-type Monsters that can swarm the field.

According to Gamerbraves.com, the deck is focused on Toadally Awesome, a Rank 2 Aqua-type Xyz Monster that requires two Level 2 Aqua-type Monsters.

If this card is on the field, it can negate and destroy a Spell or Trap Card, or a Monster Effect, that the opponent activates after sending one Aqua-type Monster from their hand or field to the Graveyard. After that, it will be set to the player's side of the field.

They can send this card to trigger the negation and its other effect that can add a Water monster in their Graveyard to their hand.

In building this deck, they need the three essential Frog monsters, Swap FrogDupe Frog, and Ronintoadin.

Swap Frog can Special Summon itself from the hand to the field after discarding another Water Monster, while Dupe Frog can add a Frog Monster from their deck or Graveyard to their hand.

Ronintoadin can Special Summon itself after banishing one other Frog Monster from their Graveyard.

As for the Paleozoic cards can add in Paleozoic DinomischusPaleozoic Canadia, and Paleozoic Olenoides.

Paleozoic Dinomischus can banish a card while Paleozoic Canadia can change a face-up monster their opponent controls to a face-down Defense Position, and Paleozoic Olenoides can destroy a Spell or Trap Card.

If a Trap Card is activated, players can Special Summon them from the Graveyard as a Level 2 Aqua-type Normal Monster with 1200 ATK and 0 DEF. Once they are summoned, they are not unaffected by Monsters Events.
