Nintendo Switch 2 specs are reportedly leaked by the Nvidia hackers, according to the latest report.

According to a report by WCCFTech on Wednesday, March 2, the recent major leak in Nvidia exposed not only some information about its products but also about Nintendo's most popular console.

It appears that the users saw "NVN2" on the latest tweet by a data miner on Twitter. This means that the source files for the "rumored" next-gen console version have been splattered.

It's possible that it could make its way for the Switch 2 or Switch Pro, which is always the subject of the leaks.

On top of that, the NVN2 API, according to the users, has been connected to Nvidia's Ampere GPU architecture. Surprisingly, the leak also suggests that we might see ray-tracing support, in addition to the DLSS 2.2 technology.

Another poster known as Kopite7kimi on Twitter tweeted out another interesting piece of information about the alleged Nintendo Switch 2. Metro reported that this device could adopt T234/T239 SOCs according to the prominent leaker.

Moreover, these chips will be based on the Orin design. Its codename is rumored, to begin with, the letter "D," according to the article.

Diving into Possible Switch 2 SoCs

This SoC could be Drake or Dane, which was only intended for the Switch Pro. However, they were reportedly canceled due to the possible arrival of the next Switch model.

To be more specific, the T234 Soc boasts 12x ARM Cortex- A78Ae 64-bit cores aside from 2048 Ampere GPU CUDA Cores. Meanwhile, the T239 will feature some modifications when it comes to specs.

Since this is just a rumor, it's always better to take this news lightly to avoid disappointments. Although the specs appear to be true, it's not enough to believe in this leak until we hear an official statement from Nintendo about the Switch 2 gaming console.

Meanwhile, GameNGuide revealed that despite the strong presence of the gaming consoles in the market, the supply chain issues continue to impact tech corporations, including Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony, when it comes to production.

The article mentioned that the true consumer demand remains tough to determine at the moment. This posed many challenges not only for the console makers but also to the customers.

It is expected that the problem will persist not only in the gaming industry but also in several sectors, including the electric vehicle business, smart home technology, smartphone venture, and more.
