Don't miss Atari's classic arcade shooter games for this week at Epic Games Store.

Growing up in the 1980s was too nostalgic for classic gamers who got used to playing various tiles under Sega and Nintendo. During that period, Atari's dominant presence in the gaming industry was remarkable to the public.

Although there's a huge decline in the popularity and performance of Atari games now, other fans still prefer the old fashion art style in some of the most popular classics in the past.

According to a report by Express, Epic Games will be bringing two Atari games for this week's line-up.

For seven days, you can download "Black Widow Recharged" and "Centipede Recharged" for free in the Epic Games Store.

If you still have no Epic account, it's no problem either. All you have to do is to create one through the official website of the platform. Login your credential and claim the free game/s right away.

Upon downloading a free game, it will be kept forever in your library. This means that you can play it anytime upon installation. If you want to delete it, the game will still remain in your account.

"Aim for a high score in the old school arcade mode and earn bragging rights with your name at the top of the leaderboard. Or test your skills and rank on the boards in one of 30 intensely creative challenges, which twist the gameplay in new and exciting ways," the Atari description reads about "Black Widow."

On the other hand, another shooting game "Centipede" will feature remake gameplay with a modern touch. However, the original soundtrack will be preserved for fans who have played this game before.

These arcade shooters will allow you to gain power ups and abilities to defeat your opponents. There are various modes and levels where you can participate: either single-player or multiplayer.

What's Next After 'Atari' Games

In another report from Eurogamer, Epic Games will be releasing "Cities: Skylines" as a free game in the store next week. It will become available starting March 10.

Colossal Order unveiled this game back in 2015 on PC. It depicts how users can build a city by engaging with other players and constructing different establishments.

Since its official launch, several updates have arrived. More expansion happened and DLCs piled up for players who want to feel the vibe of urban planning.
