New Graphics Modes for 'GTA V'

The PlayStation blog post details the three graphics settings for "GTA V."

First of which is the Fidelity Mode. In this mode, fans can expect the highest visual quality along with support for native 4K resolution. Ray tracing is likewise enabled in this mode, which is also targetting 30 FPS.

The second mode is known as the Performance Mode. This is the right graphics setting for those who are after "the most responsive gameplay experience," according to the PlayStation Blog. This mode targets 60 FPS and supports upscaled 4K resolution.

Last and certainly not the least, there is the Performance RT Mode. This mode is pretty much a combination of the first two modes already discussed. It features the upscaled 4K resolution and 60 FPS target of the Performance Mode as well as the enabled ray tracing from the Fidelity Mode.

'GTA V' and 'GTA Online'

"Grand Theft Auto V" is an action-adventure video game first launched in 2013. It is considered as the seventh main entry of the series. It was initially released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 before making its way to newer consoles in the succeeding years.

The game is set in the fictional San Andreas, California, and follows the story of three characters: former bank robber Michael De Santa, gangster Frank Clinton, and drug dealer Trevor Philips.

On the other hand. "Grand Theft Auto Online" is an online multiplayer game launched in 2013 as well. Considered as the online component of "GTA V," "GTA Online" allows up to 30 players to enjoy the game. The events of this game take place a couple of months after the story of "GTA V."
