'Elden Ring' Player Becomes Basically Invincible With 'Mech Suit' Build

This 'Elden Ring' Player Built An Almost-Invincible 'Mech Suit' Character

"Elden Ring" is a tough, tough game. It's not for the type of gamer who rage-quits every five minutes. But maybe if you follow this specific player's character build, The Lands Between doesn't have to be an extremely dangerous place.

Here's where you can find one of the most famous weapons in "Elden Ring," the Uchigatana Kitana.

"Elden Ring" player Adam Barker posted a video on YouTube of his character build annihilating almost everyone he comes across--from normal enemies to boss fights and the like. The reason? His build essentially uses something like a mech suit, writes GamesRadar. But it's not the type of mech suit that works like "Fallout" power armor.

Here's the video:

To build the pseudo mech suit, Barker consumes an item called the Ironjar Aromatic. This item uses FP to turn his character's body into steel. But since this is temporary (FP is finite, after all), he takes a Cerulean Hidden Tear to his mixed Physik to completely stop Ironjar from consuming his FP.

Lastly, he pops some Crimsonwhorl Bubbletear to convert any damage his character receives into HP. The result? It's a Tarnished whose body is almost impervious to any attack as long as the consumables hold. The character is basically a tank. But that's not where this insanely OP character build ends.

For a tank to be effective, it also has to dish out as much damage as it can take. For that, Barker uses the incantation Unendurable Frenzy. This one causes the Tarnished's eyes to spew yellow flames, and the damage this thing does is absolutely crazy.

Barker even showed his character dealing with multiple invaders, to which he seemed almost indestructible. But eventually, his Tarnished's luck ran out after it was finally taken down by a team of three invaders who used some pretty powerful magic and good old-fashioned teamwork.

Can You Also Be This OP In 'Elden Ring?'

The simplest answer is yes. Your Tarnished can be as powerful as Barker's if you follow his character build to the letter. But that's not really the soul of a "Soulsborne" game (pun intended), right?

It is normal to find a FromSoftware game like "Elden Ring" tough. They're designed that way. But the thing is, you can spec out your character to better handle the rigors of FromSoftware's worlds, and The Lands Between is no exception. As such, there are multiple ways to become absolutely overpowered in this game, even early on.

GameRant reported on a specific guide posted by YouTuber Boomstick Gaming, which promises the chance of getting strong early, so The Lands Between is a bit more manageable. What players will need to do is to follow Boomstick's "optimized path" as shared in this video, which will take them to several locations where they could get new weapons and armor, much-needed runes, and stronger, more potent items:

By following this guide, you'll get what you need to make the game more palatable early. This means you won't likely die as much handling the first few bosses like Godrick the Grafted, as well as other tough early-game foes.
