Hadi Ismail Unlocks His Full Potential in Upcoming Update for Naraka: Bladepoint

A new patch for Naraka: Bladepoint is expected to go live tomorrow, December 20. This upcoming update will introduce Hadi Ismail's third and ultimate abilities, thereby unlocking his full potential.

New Abilities

Hadi Ismail is the newest hero who was added to Naraka: Bladepoint's roster. What sets him apart from the others is that he can use some nifty gadgets that allow him to gain the upper hand. Although players can enjoy using him in the game, he was launched without his full set of abilities.

That is about to change as developer 24 Entertainment is going to release a new update very soon. This upcoming patch will finally unlock Hadi's third and ultimate abilities, which are quite amazing, to say the least.

Hadi's third ability, Mechanical Arm: Pursuit, prompts him to stretch his mechanical arm forward. Upon reaching its maximum distance, Hadi is then pulled towards the arm's position, triggering an explosion immediately after landing. Hadi will also be pulled sooner if the arm comes into contact with an enemy.

When activating Hadi's ultimate, Aerial Ascent: Rescue, he will leap into the sky, knocking back nearby enemies in the process. While in the air, he utilizes his mechanical wings to fly until his Rage meter is fully depleted. Because of this ability, Hadi can go to locations that his opponents cannot reach, giving him enough time to recuperate.

Additionally, Hadi can place a Mechanical Cube while he is flying. His allies can interact with the cube as well, and in doing so, they will be teleported directly to the cube's location. This enables Hadi to rescue his allies from the enemy's clutches, which is why the ultimate is befitting its name.

A PlayStation Exclusive

24 Entertainment is also going to test a new game mode that is exclusive to PlayStation users. This new mode is called "Martial Artist Solo" and it is a tournament where groups of 16 players will compete in a 1v1 format. Those who win three out of five matches will advance to the next round. Ultimately, only one player will be declared the winner.

Once the new mode is available, those who are willing to join the tournament can go to PlayStation Tournaments and then Martial Artist Solo.

Players who will test the new game mode are encouraged to provide feedback. If everything goes according to plan, the company will release Martial Artist Solo as an official game mode in the next major update on January 4.

Balancing Adjustments

HADI

  • Increased the time that Hadi has to wait to attack after dodging while flying.

  • Slightly reduced the strike coverage time of charged dash attack, making it match the animation better.

  • Optimized the special effects of Hadi's Skill Mechanical Arm: Pursuit, solving issues that would occur when Hadi hit targets that were bound by Water Bombs, Frozen or being controlled by others skills.

FAN

  • Reduction in hit stun duration of charged Horizontal Strikes and Vertical Strikes.

  • Reduction in damage coefficient of charged Horizontal Strike from 2.77*2 to 2.55*2.

  • Reduction in damage coefficient of charged Vertical Strike from 2.5*2 to 2.29*2.

POLESWORD

  • Improvements to the gestures of charged vertical Strikes.

  • Slight increase in the time frame for a possible interruption to a charged Vertical Strike.

  • Reduction in the Polesword's Stone Form damage reduction from 75% to 60%.

COMBAT

  • Increased the scattering angle between arrows when the Bow Evil-Ent is on Hard and above, and when it has the [Relentless Volley] Omen, to avoid multiple arrows hitting the same target, and reduced the damage value of [Relentless Volley] by a certain amount.

  • A [Ocean Yaksa] using [Swirl Crossbow] can still attack while being hit by a melee white attack.

  • Players will no longer switch to an unarmed state after they stop using the [Swirl Crossbow]. Instead, they will revert to using the weapon that was equipped prior to the crossbow.

  • The Hammer Evil-Ent in Normal mode will no longer perform consecutive ground smashes.
