Evil Mojo Games comes bearing gifts to all Paladins players with the recently released "Aico's Vault" Update. One of the highlights of this patch is the return of a fan-favorite mode, Dragon's Call!

Returning Game Mode

The popular Dragon's Call game mode has returned to Paladins. This 4v4 mode will have two teams vie for control over the Key Sphere. Once the Key Sphere is in their possession, the group that is holding it will try its best to deliver the package to the opposing team's vault. When done successfully, the group scores one point. The first team to score four points wins.

Take note that only one member of the group can hold the Key Sphere. During this time, they cannot attack with their weapons and abilities. The only things they can do are pass the Key Sphere to another teammate or drop the thing altogether.

Dragon's Call in Paladins is held on the special "Flagball" map. Furthermore, certain champions cannot be selected for this game mode, namely Grohk, Grover, VII, Vora, and Yagorath. According to the company, these champions refuse to obey the Warder's Rules.

Upcoming LTMs

A couple of limited-time game modes are in store for players, with the first one being available starting next week. The Magistrate's Parade runs from December 29 until January 1. In this LTM, players will choose between two pairs: Rei & Lian or Cassie & Grover. According to the company, these champions will represent House Aico and House Arturos, respectively, as these factions settle their differences in a traditional way. Magistrate's Parade is the first Payload LTM in Paladins, where players will escort a payload safely to its destination.

Early next year, players can enjoy a more chaotic version of Flagball called "Roccer." This limited-time mode is rumored to be as good as Dragon's Call in terms of fun and excitement. This LTM will be available starting January 5 and lasts until January 8.
