Here Are the Best Exotic Weapons for PvP in Destiny 2

Destiny 2 has a vast array of weapons you can use to slay your enemies. There are "Legendary" weapons that come with random mods. If you're able to secure some with "god rolls," then you can use them to your advantage. But, those require a considerable amount of time to acquire, especially in a game where loot is heavily influenced by RNG.

However, there are also some "Exotic" weapons that already come with a specific set of mods. These mods cannot be changed by any means, which makes them the go-to pick for many players who do not want to be bothered by min-maxing.

If you are looking for the best Exotics, especially for the purposes of eliminating your opponents in PvP, then you have come to the right place! Here are my recommendations for the best Exotic weapons for PvP in Destiny 2:

Cloudstrike

If you are looking for a sniper rifle that has enough firepower to kill your enemies without a hitch, then the Cloudstrike is definitely a good choice. This is an Exotic Arc Sniper Rifle that has the exotic perk called Mortal Polarity.

Every time you land a headshot, this weapon generates a lightning bolt at the target's location. Enemies near the point of impact will be damaged, which can sometimes lead to multiple kills in the right circumstances.

Moreover, when you land headshots in quick succession, you create a lightning storm that deals even more damage to the main target thanks to Stormbringer. With the weapon's amazing capabilities, the Cloudstrike can take you to the top of the rankings, especially when it's used correctly.

Witherhoard

While having perfect aim is always desirable in a first-person shooter like Destiny 2, it is a skill that takes a long time to master. Now, if you do not have a good aim but you still want to slay your enemies in PvP, then the Witherhoard is one of the best weapons you can use.

The Witherhoard is a Kinetic grenade launcher that heavily relies on the blight it produces on impact. Enemies who step on the blighted area will take damage over time until they get off of it. Even if you do not have a good aim, you can just fire at the ground and let the blight do the heavy work.

Gjallarhorn

If you have played the original game, then you know why Gjallarhorn is included in this list. Although the version that was introduced in Destiny 2 is a bit watered down, this Exotic rocket launcher still packs a punch and is great for those who do not have an impeccable aim.

What makes this rocket launcher stand out above its counterparts is that it has incredible tracking. You simply face the general direction of the enemy, right-click to aim down sights, and then press the fire button. You can bet that its projectile will hit the intended target! Just in case it does not hit the target directly, the smaller rockets that come out at the point of impact ensure that your enemies will not escape unscathed.

Duality

If you want to be up close and personal with the enemy, then Duality is the perfect choice for you! This is an Exotic Solar shotgun that has two firing modes. When the shotgun is fired from the hip, it spews pellets that can deal considerable damage when you are close enough. However, when you are aiming down sights, this weapon fires a more accurate slug shot, perfect for eliminating those who are running away.

When you kill enemies with Duality, you gain a stacking precision damage and reload speed buff that has the potential to snowball, especially if you are able to kill a slew of enemies in rapid succession.

So, which of these Exotic weapons are you going to use in Destiny 2?
