The Sims 4 is always a fun game. In fact, it is one of the most popular life simulation games out there, primarily because it has a ton of expansion packs to make things more interesting.

The "Get to Work" expansion, in particular, adds a new mechanic where any of your Sims can get sick. And if they do, the quality of their work suffers as a result.

If you are looking for ways on how to cure the sickness more effectively, do read on. For today, I will provide you with some handy tips to help your Sims get back in shape.

Drink Some Medicine

If your Sims are feeling under the weather, the most important thing you need to do is order some medicine. To do that, open up your computer in-game and then choose "Order." After that, you should find an option that lets you purchase some. A pop-up will be displayed on the screen asking you if you want to buy how many doses of medicine. A single dose costs 50 Simoleons.

Once you have some medicine in your possession, open up the inventory and click on the bottle icon. This will prompt the character who is sick to take it. Although it is theoretically possible for any of your Sims to consume multiple doses, doing so is not advised.

Get Ample Rest

Just like in the real world, taking medicine in the game is only one way to get better. Another way to cure the sickness in The Sims 4 is to give those who are not feeling well some ample time to rest.

If you are new to the game and you don't know how to do this, you can have your Sims take a nap by clicking on a bed or a sofa.

Take a Sip

Tea in The Sims 4 has medicinal properties that can help your Sims recover from the sickness. In order to get some, you should obtain the "Tea Magic Personal Brewer" in Build Mode first. This thing can brew a few cups of Tea at a time, which is handy if more than one of your Sims gets sick for some reason.

Alternatively, you can have your Sims drink a glass of orange juice by clicking on the Fridge. The Vitamin C this drink provides can aid in reducing the affected Sim's recovery time.
