#SteamSpotlight Feature: Loddlenaut
Released on November 17, 2023, Loddlenaut is developed by Moon Lagoon and published by Secret Mode. The game is set in a fictional ocean planet called GUP-14, which has been left abandoned and polluted by a mega corporation.
You take on the role of an interstellar custodian whose task is to clean up the pollution that was left behind. You get to explore the planet, which is an open world, as you clean up.
While you will initially be equipped by a bubble gun for your task, you can also unlock special gadgets that will help you clean other kinds of pollution. Some of the trash you can collect can be recycled and use for gadget upgrades as well as other useful items.
As you go along, you will discover buildings, ships, and even machines that the mega corporation left behind. Find clues that will tell you more about the planet and its past inhabitants.

The Loddles
You won't be alone as you clean up GUP-14. In fact, you will encounter axolotl-like aliens known as "loddles." Your task is to protect them as well as feed them. What you feed them will affect their growth as well as the unique traits and abilities they will eventually develop.
Once the waters are cleaner and the loddles are grown enough, you can release them back to the wild.

Steam Reviews for Loddlenaut
Loddlenaut has more than 800 user reviews on Steam as of press time. Steam describes this reviews as generally "Overwhelmingly Positive."
"I have to commend the developers with this one," user Lyria Celeste TTV says in a Stem review. "It's just the right amount of peaceful, and it doesn't feel tedious."
"Cleaning up the various areas, the upgrades, the Loddles, this game has a lot to offer, and I really enjoy coming back to the various areas and seeing how the Loddle population has grown," Lyria Celeste TTV adds.
"Adorable and satisfying," user Ruska says in a separate review. "Definitely going to come back just for the different Loddles."
