Released on November 29, 2023, The Exit 8 is developed and published by KOTAKE CREATE. Inspired by Japanese underground passageways, the goal of the game is—as its name suggests—to get out via Exit 8.
The game only lasts for around 15 to 60 minutes, so it is very quick. However, getting out through Exit 8 is definitely easier said than done.

Look for Anomalies
It may look like any ordinary Japanese underground passageway, but don't be deceived. You have to been on the look out for anomalies or anything that is out of the ordinary.
If you don't spot an anomaly, keep going towards the exit. However, the moment you spot one, turn back right away.
What happens if you don't? Well, you'll have to play the game to find out.
Steam Reviews for The Steam 8
The Exit 8 has more than 4,000 user reviews on Steam as of press time. These reviews are generally described as "Very Positive" by the platform.
"A short and fun game," a user named Johan said in a Steam review. "I love how this game makes observational horror more interactive."
"Overall, I really enjoyed this game and the memory skills challenge it brought," SynthFox says in a separate review. "It may be hard for some and easy for others, but regardless of just how challenging it is to you, I highly recommend giving it a try if you enjoy puzzle or memory games!"
