We received word from Soda Drinker Pro that their hit soda drinking game will be coming to Xbox One later this year, but we didn't believe it. it's obvious that the power of a next-gen system is required to provide a completely realistic soda drinking simulation but it sounded too good to be true. Could soda get that realistic? Thankfully, ID@Xbox has come to the rescue.
"We are truly excited to have the opportunity to release Soda Drinker Pro for the Xbox One," said Will Brierly, Soda Drinker Pro developer. "We have been working hard to fine-tune the fluid dynamics, from the condensation on the cup to the carbonated bubbles that float up the straw, this is something we are so proud to release for the Xbox One!"
The game will feature Kinect support, which is perhaps not as great as the Oculus Rift support that that PC version has, but the developer promises you unmatched soda drinking simulation. In fact, it lets us know that the Xbox One Kinect support will offer "players the option to truly feel the cup in their hands as they grasp their Soda and drink it into infinity."
This new version includes more than 100 simulations plus 10 never-before-seen game exclusives for Xbox One. As in the PC original (and in real life) if you stand next to a rock while enjoying your soda you get transported into a multi-dimensional dream world. This mode is called "Vivian Clark" and has been completely revamped for Xbox One with "500% more content than the original version, drastically improved graphics and gameplay, and thousands of possible options for the player to experience."
