Larian Studios released Patch 6 for Baldur's Gate 3 last week. It was supposed to be a major update that every player can enjoy. However, there are some players who have experienced nothing but issues, so much so that they went to Reddit to voice their frustrations.

Buggy Mess

Redditor twili-midna highlighted a few issues that they have experienced since Patch 6 for Baldur's Gate 3 came out. According to the disgruntled player, none of the traders in the game are working, which left them unable to trade their items.

Additionally, they have encountered a major issue where their inventories were wiped clean as if someone had intentionally deleted all of their stuff.

The said Redditor had to deal with frequent crashes as well, especially during ability checks or changing to different areas.

Another Redditor shared the problems they have encountered after updating their game clients. They said that they could not switch companions for some reason, which is a bummer considering how companions play a huge role in Baldur's Gate 3.

It seems that some Baldur's Gate 3 players also experienced issues on other platforms. According to Redditor BooleanBill, the game is virtually unplayable on PlayStation 5. "Whenever I go into combat, the game will soft lock on one of the character's turns and not allow the turn to be ended," said BooleanBill.

Redditor chelsairitops, another person who plays Baldur's Gate 3 on PS5, said that almost every NPC in the game attacks them without being provoked.

No Response

A lot of people praised Larian Studios for delivering such a high-quality game in Baldur's Gate 3. This role-playing game garnered numerous awards, including the highly coveted Game of the Year Award. However, despite the accolades, the game should still be developed with the utmost care for stability and new content.

At the time of writing, Larian Studios has not made a statement yet regarding the issues that were raised by the community.

For the time being, players who have experienced issues after updating to Patch 6 must take note of the bugs and file tickets. If a sizable portion of the player base does this, perhaps it will finally get the attention of the company.
