Kinetic Games did a massive overhaul of Phasmophobia's in-game shop to make it more intuitive for players. Those who want to interact with the newly revamped shop must download and install Update v0.9.5.0.
Shop Overhaul
The in-game of Phasmophobia is now more intuitive than ever. Players who are new to the game will be given a tutorial on how they can do stuff in the shop. Furthermore, players now have more control over their loadouts, including the ability to rename them for easy access.
Speaking of loadouts, the items that players have placed inside their loadouts will automatically be purchased without user intervention! These items are going to be available at the truck, which is a vehicle that players can interact with at the start of a contract.
Controller users will be pleased to know that various shortcuts and "easy buy buttons" have been added to make their experience with the shop a lot better than ever.
VR Improvements
The shop is not the only thing that got some improvements in Update v0.9.5.0. This patch has a lot of things in store for VR players as well!
One of the most notable is that VR players now have the option to "Prestige" once they have reached the max level. For the uninitiated, this allows players to go back to level 1, albeit with a special badge and ID card that they can show off to their friends.
In addition, certain controls now work as intended. For instance, players can use up and down arrows to read through their journals.
