Week 116 Update for ICARUS is now available. Although this is a relatively minor patch compared to the one that was released a week ago, it still packs a punch!
New Weapon
ICARUS developer RocketWerkz has added a new weapon to the game called the Trench Shotgun. According to the company, this is the most damaging weapon in the game, especially when it is fired at close range.
Players who are interested in crafting this weapon must get its blueprint at the Tier 4 Tech Tree. Then, they can head to the Fabricator to craft it. The Trench Shotgun requires the following materials:
20 Refined Wood
15 Cured Leather
20 Titanium Ingots
5 Epoxy
25 Steel Screws
So, how does it compare to the Tier 3 Shotgun? Well, the Trench Shotgun has +30% projectile damage and has a slightly higher rate of fire as well. Furthermore, the new weapon has an eight-ammo capacity compared to the T3 Shotgun's six.
Due to the nature of the said firearm, the Trench Shotgun is best utilized by getting as close to the enemy as possible before pulling the trigger.
The Long Wait is Over
The release date is set for the highly anticipated "Batteries and Networks" Update for ICARUS. After much testing in the beta branch, the company is now confident to launch the update next week, provided that no major issues pop up in the next several days.
