This area is central to the progression of the Dark Talisman and Goblin Problem quests, making it a critical location for players to explore and unravel the game's narrative.
How to Gain Access to the Witch's Hut
Find the Dark Talisman
To unlock the Witch's Hut, players must obtain the Dark Talisman found in the Sewers. After completing either the Community Center or Joja Community Development Form, the Magic Ink quest is initiated by the Wizard at the hut's entrance. Head to the northeast corner of the Railroad area to kickstart the quest. Engage in a conversation with Krobus in the Sewers, who will guide you to the Mutant Bug Lair. Navigate through the cave, battle monsters, and retrieve the Dark Talisman from the opposite side.
Convince the Goblin to Let You In
Once you have the Dark Talisman, place it in the gate of the Hut to unlock it. Inside, you'll encounter a Goblin Henchman acting as a gatekeeper. To gain access to the Witch's basement, players must offer the Goblin one Void Mayonnaise. Craft Void Mayonnaise by placing a Void Egg into a Mayonnaise Machine. Alternatively, try your luck fishing in the Witch's Swamp for a chance to obtain Void Mayonnaise from the waters.
Tip: Luck might favor you, and you could fish out Void Mayonnaise directly from the waters in the Witch's Swamp, saving you the crafting effort. Once obtained, offer the Void Mayonnaise to the Goblin to proceed further into the Witch's Hut.
What Awaits You in the Witch's Hut
Upon entering the Witch's Hut for the first time, players will discover the Wizard's Magic Ink on the table in the bottom left corner. Additionally, the hut contains three Dark Shrines: Selfishness, Memories, and Night of Terrors, each influencing gameplay in distinct ways.
