Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the sequel to the highly acclaimed Zelda: Breath of the Wild and gives players a fantastic amount of freedom of choice and flexibility in choosing and upgrading weapons.
In the early stages of the game, some players may find it difficult to either get enough weapons as old ones break or find good spots where powerful equipment is stored. This guide aims to give you a rundown of the best early-game weapon farming locations to give you a headstart in your adventures.

Flame-Emitter Shield
Playing with fire is dangerous, but using fire is dangerous for your opponents and the Flame-Emitter Shield is one of the best early-game weapons to burn your enemies to a crisp. Players can get this by fusing a flame-emitter to any old shield.
It gives you a simple way to crowd control mass hordes of enemies and as the fire spreads, it is easier to light a large group in a short time. While burning, enemies will be too busy trying to put the fire out to focus on you, according to Nintendo Life.
Soldier Reaper
The Soldier Reaper is a relatively powerful weapon, particularly in the early game, and can be found on Great Sky Island, which is the game's tutorial area. It will be more than enough to keep the enemies in the area at bay until you find better equipment.

Rock Hammer
The Rock Hamer is a sturdy and bulky weapon that is a fusion of Rock and a Sword or a Hammer that players can use to blast boulders out of their way. Typically, this would require the use of a bomb, which many consider to be a valuable, limited-quantity item.
Bokoblin Arms
While relatively weak on their own, Bokoblin Arms are readily accessible and can be fused together to provide an attack state of +50. This will already be somewhat of an overkill for enemies that you face in the early stages of the game.
When it comes to looking for weapons, having a few dedicated farming locations can be ideal if you need to quickly get new equipment to use. Some bosses drop better gear than others, so knowing which ones to farm is essential, said Sportskeeda.
One particularly good place to farm weapons is near the Sinonoyk Lightroot, which can be accessed by going through the Chasm situated above Jioson Shrine and going northeast. Weapons can be acquired by defeating Spirit Soldiers that appear from the mounds in the area.
Another good location is the Gerudo Highlands where players should keep an eye out for ice-like monsters that drop great loot. The drops include the powerful Gerudo Scimitar and the enemies are relatively easy to beat.
However, by far the best weapon in the game is the Master Sword, which while only having 30 base damage, is technically indestructible because it uses energy instead of losing durability. It also gets a power boost when facing off against gloom-infested enemies.
This weapon can be found on the head of the Light Dragon, which continuously flies in a circle around Hyrule. Players will have to mount the massive creature and must have two green stamina wheels to pull the Master Sword out, according to Polygon.
