Today's #SteamSpotlight feature is a survival game that involves a whole lot of driving. In fact, in order to survive, you'll be heavily reliant your good ol' car.

Released on February 22, 2024, Pacific Drive is developed by Ironwood Studios and published by Kepler Interactive. It's a story-rich survival game that features a lot of action, exploration, and even sci-fi as well.
In this first-person game, you will rely heavily on your station wagon as you venture into the Olympic Exclusion Zone. However, what you're doing is no ordinary drive as you will encounter supernatural dangers along the way. These are actually experimental leftovers of a secretive organization, which remain scattered across the Zone.
You'll also encounter bizarre weather as well as unforgiving landscapes, which will make surviving more difficult for you.

Upgrading Your Station Wagon
As previously mentioned, you'll be heavily dependent on your station wagon for survival, so you'll have to make sure that your car always has a full tank of gas and in its best shape. In order to do that, you will be allowed to reinforce and upgrade your station wagon.
However, given the danger that surrounds you, you will have to make repairs on the fly and even look for materials in a rush.

Steam Reviews for Pacific Drive
As of press time, Pacific Drive has more than 9,000 user reviews on Steam. These reviews are generally described as "Very Positive."
"This might be my Game of the Year," Mike's Sketchitorium says in a Steam review. "Pacific Drive is a remarkable tale that balances a story about the supernatural and government conspiracy with that of learning to forgive yourself and grow, all bundled into a funny car-survival-extraction game."
"Pacific Drive is an absolute masterpiece that captivated me from the very beginning," user ErLeMo says in a separate review. "While the story may not be super deep, it still manages to grip the player and take them on an unforgettable journey."
