Released on January 17, 2024, No Case Should Remain Unsolved is developed and published by Somi. It is an interactive visual novel that follows a former police detective named Jeon Gyeong. She is visited by a younger police officer who asks her to look into a long-forgotten case.

This case involves a 12-year-old girl named Seowon, who went missing in a playground more than a decade prior. Despite the police investigation, no suspect has been arrested.

Uncovering Clues Through Memory Fragments

As mentioned earlier, in order to figure out what happened to Seowon, you will have to uncover clues using memory fragments. There is likewise a lot of puzzle-solving involved, so this game is perfect for thos who enjoy puzzles.

What will you do when you find out that everyone around Seowon had been lying?

Steam Reviews for No Case Should Remain Unsolved

As of press time, No Case Should Remain Unsolved has more than 2,400 user reviews on Steam. Steam describes these reviews as generally "Overwhelmingly Positive."

"The game is a bit short at 2-3 hours but a fantastic experience all the way through," user Fish says in a Steam review. 

"I look at my playing time and find myself a bit surprised that I could go through so many emotions in so little time," oikistes says in a separate review. "It can get confusing, even overwhelming at times, but that in itself is part of the point. 

"It is a beautiful little game," oikistes adds. "I loved it."
