Electronic Arts has officially revealed "EA Sports UFC 6," confirming months of rumors surrounding the next entry in the popular MMA franchise.
The game is scheduled to launch in June 2026 and will arrive in multiple editions for current-generation consoles.
Alex Pereira And Max Holloway Named Cover Athletes
The announcement follows speculation that development accelerated shortly after the release of "EA Sports UFC 5" in 2023.
Reports previously claimed EA Vancouver pushed the project into full production by late 2024, and the official reveal now confirms the game is approaching release.
The gaming giant also unveiled the official cover stars for the upcoming title. Alex Pereira will headline the standard edition cover, while Max Holloway appears on the Ultimate Edition.
The Ultimate Edition may include exclusive content centered around Holloway. Earlier rumors suggested the fighter could receive a dedicated gameplay mode, and EA has now teased an exclusive mode tied to the game's Expansion Pass.
Although full gameplay details remain unrevealed, fans are already expecting upgraded combat systems, improved visuals, and expanded career features.
Pricing And Editions Revealed
The standard edition of "EA Sports UFC 6" will launch at the standard AAA price of $69.99.
Meanwhile, the Ultimate Edition will cost $99.99, though EA Play subscribers are expected to receive launch discounts.
The premium version will likely include bonus fighters, exclusive cosmetic content, and early access benefits similar to other recent EA Sports titles.
'UFC 6' Continues Using Frostbite Engine
According to GameRant, EA confirmed that "UFC 6" will once again run on the Frostbite engine, the same technology used in "UFC 5."
Frostbite has helped EA Vancouver deliver more realistic visuals, advanced lighting systems, and smoother fighter animations. The franchise originally relied on the Ignite engine before transitioning to Frostbite in the previous installment.
PC Version May Arrive Later
While EA only announced console versions during the official reveal, industry reports claim a PC release could follow later in 2026.
