Free ‘Tomb Raider’ DLC for PowerWash Simulator Will Disappear Next Week

Don’t waste this moment to play the “Tomb Raider” DLC.

The "Tomb Raider" franchise is celebrating its 30th anniversary with multiple projects, remasters, and upcoming releases, but longtime fans now face a time-sensitive deadline involving one of its most popular crossover collaborations.

Developers of PowerWash Simulator have confirmed that the free "Tomb Raider" downloadable content pack will be permanently removed from digital storefronts next week.

Players have until May 19 to claim the content before it disappears.

DLC To Be Removed Across All Major Platforms

Developer FuturLab announced that both the Tomb Raider and Midgar Special Packs will be delisted from all major platforms, including Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and the Windows Store.

A Redditor posted that the studio clarified that players who download the content before the removal deadline will still retain full access after it is delisted. However, those who fail to claim it in time may lose access permanently.

FuturLab said the decision is tied to the conclusion of its formal licensing agreement with Square Enix, which is expected to end in June 2026.

'Tomb Raider' Franchise Enters New Expansion Era

While the DLC is being removed, the "Tomb Raider" franchise itself is experiencing a resurgence. After years of limited activity following "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" in 2018, the series is once again expanding across multiple projects.

Recent releases include the second season of "Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft," while additional titles are in development.

Reported upcoming entries include "Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis" in 2026 and "Tomb Raider: Catalyst" in 2027, alongside a planned live-action reboot.

PowerWash Simulator Continues Major Crossover Success

According to ScreenRant, "Tomb Raider" collaboration remains one of the most popular crossover packs in PowerWash Simulator, which has also featured themed content from franchises such as "Back to the Future," "SpongeBob SquarePants," "Warhammer 40,000," and "Shrek."
