'Grand Theft Auto Online' RELEASE DATE: 'High Life' Updates For New Weapons, Vehicles & More Revealed [VIDEO, News]

'High Life' Update Info For 'Grand Theft Auto Online' Here!

Good things are coming to GTA Online, as Rockstar has announced that players can expect the High Life Update in less than a week from today, Tuesday, May 13. The developer had previously offered up some tidbits on the update, but now we have as many details as you could ever wish for.

Capture Creator Guide For Grand Theft Auto Online, Details Here!

We've head all about the ways the update will allow players to upgrade their lifestyle, with high-end apartments and ownership of multiple properties, but a new post on Rockstar's Newswire got into the specifics. When the update arrives, players will have their choice of apartments from five new options, including Eclipse Towers, Richards Majestic, and others, "all featuring the latest new interior design." And thanks to multi-property ownership, you can have numerous bachelor pads. Your wardrobe has also been blessed with new options, and more character customizations like toasts and celebrations.

The high end lifestyle is great, but you're not playing GTA Online to sit up in the clouds and watch television. When you get back down to street level, you'll have three new cars and another motorcycle to add to your fleet:
- Enus Huntley S (SUV)
- Dewbauchee Massacro (Sports)
- Pegassi Zentorno (Super) and
- Dinka Thrust (Motorcycle)

GTA Online Gets a Bit of the Business, and a New Title Update Offers Some Adjustments

All the new vehicles are available to purchase from Legendary Motorsport in both GTA Online and GTA V's story mode. Horns and other vehicle customizations will also be added alongside the new rides. To keep them in top condition, the Update also adds a 'Non Contact' option to Races, which has other racers appear as ghostly, semi-transparent entities that can't be clipped.

Finally, for the NRA members out there, High Life also brings in a new weapon -- the Bullpup Rifle. Feel free to have it at the ready if you feel like your partner in crime is a bit...off. You'll know thanks to a new Mental State stat. There will also be 15 new Jobs, including 5 Contact Missions, but Rockstar hasn't described those just yet. More as it comes, but mark you calendars for May 13.
