Players can now suit up and take to the skies against masses of enemies in Bandai Namco's and Tecmo Koei's latest addition to two storied franchises, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Reborn.

Hyrule Warriors, 'The Dynasty Of Zelda', Gets Some Day 1 DLC

If you have ever been mowing through a legion of enemies in Dynasty Warriors and thought, 'I really want to be in a giant robot suit right now', you're in luck. Conversely, if you've ever been soaring through the stars and thought 'why aren't there more enemies for me to destroy', then this game is the right one for you.

From the official press release: "Players will experience the best moments from the Gundam series in its majestic glory as they play through 37 areas in the game's Official Mode and more than 150 scenarios in Ultimate Mode, all taken straight from the Mobile Suit Gundam movies and animations, including Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. With over 100 different Mobile Suits playable, players will feel the immense thrill of piloting these powerful machines of war and pulverize hundreds of on-screen enemies in electrifying Dynasty Warriors gameplay style."

Players can also enter the battle either solo or with a friend in either local or online co-op play to experience the Gundam, or Dynasty Warriors, excitement.

The game also introduces the new Burst System, which allows players to activate a powered up form of their current Gundam and combine it with others to unleash unholy hell. Basically, they made them Voltron. Which is awesome.

Additionally, "Visual enhancements bring the battle rampage to new heights with more brilliant graphics and lighting effects that will reflect a vivid, war-torn Gundam galaxy."

The game is available via digital download exclusively for the PlayStation 3 and retails for $39.99. As the resident giant robot fan, I'll be writing up a review on it, so stay tuned to GameNGuide for all your Gundam news.
