‘Battlefield 4 Dragon’s Teeth’ DLC Release Date Announced… Then Pulled?

Dragon’s Teeth Release Date Mistakenly Announced by EA Origin Twitter Account

After Second Assault, China Rising and Naval Strike, Dragon's Teeth is the next eagerly awaited content pack for Battlefield 4. But when's it coming?

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare vs Battlefield Hardline: The Battle Between Game Franchises Continues

Earlier today, EA's games platform Origin tweeted out into the digital ether that Battlefield 4's latest DLC pack Dragon's Teeth would be available July 15 for Battlefield Premium members. The tweet was subsequently removed and replaced with a statement of 20% off on Premium (placing it at $40) at the Origin store, coupled with a somewhat vaguer Dragon's Teeth "2 weeks early" mention. If the original tweet's July 15 still holds up, that means Dragon's Teeth will see general release on July 29 for those of you who do not have a Premium subscription.

Dragon's Teeth promises action in four new maps (Lumphini Garden, Pearl Market, Propaganda, Sunken Dragon) across several Asian cities under the sway of the People's Liberation Army. You should also expect five weapons all new to Battlefield and the no doubt soon-to-be very talked about new Battle pickup, the R.A.W.R., a heavily armed remotely operated ground vehicle. Furthermore, a new game mode called Chain Link will allow you to capture points and link them together creating chains as you may have gathered from the name.

Battlefield 4 : Dragon's Teeth Trailer Shows Last Stand Weapons, Gadgets, And Levolutions

Dragon's Teeth is not the final bit of DLC, as DICE still has Final Stand planned for an as yet unknown release date. Looks like gamers will have to be as uncertain as to the outcome of the "War of 2020" as the frightened citizens of the Battlefield-verse!
