Ah, those sweaty palms and lost coins we all remember from those dens of iniquity we used to call "video arcades". Do you remember, or are we just very old? Well, PDP Productions is trying to recall that classic feeling by developing special Mortal Kombat X controllers for both the Xbox One and PS4.

Mortal Kombat X Known Character List Right Here

Alex Jebailey, community manager for Iron Galaxy Studios, found himself at the Gamespot Expo last week and snapped some pics of a very unique-looking Xbox One controller. The single directional stick and two rows of three adjacent buttons will look like a souped up arcade version of a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive controller to gamers of a certain age.

The controller pictured in the embedded Instagram photo is of course the Xbox One... one, but a PS4 bundle was also present, though not physically viewable as it was bundled up. This snazzy new console accessory by (PDP or Performance Designed Productions) is still pending approval, so it may not be the version you will be able to buy in stores/order from your favorite online retailer.

Consider that Mortal Kombat 9 already had its own specific PS3 controllers, so those could be a pretty good indication as to what the as-yet-unrevealed PS4 ones will look like.

Mortal Kombat X is scheduled to hit consoles and PCs April 14, 2015, with the character of Goro as a pre-order bonus for those who are so inclined.
