NYCC 2014 News: Star Trek The Next Generation Main Cast Members Appearing Live To Sign Autographs All Weekend

NYCC Beams Up The Main Cast Of Star Trek: The Next Generation For Autographs

The upcoming New York Comic Con has gotten several, ahem, "out of this world" actors for Autograph Alley. Several key members of the crew of the Enterprise NC-1701D, that's Next Generation, will be on hand signing all that original 80s merch you still have in your mom's attic.

Nor is it just that guy who played that Tamarian that Picard could only use metaphors with. No, it's the entire bridge crew! Patrick Stewart will hop the ACE up from Park Slope and, if we hope really hard, will bring Ian McKellan along for some epic-level bromance adventures.

Additionally, Brent Spiner (Data), Levar Burton (Geordi), Marina Sirtis (Counselor Troi), Jonathan Frakes (Commander Riker), Michael Dorn (Worf) and Gates McFadden (Doctor Crusher) will appear. Densie Crosby, who played Tasha Yar in the first season, was killed off by a giant pile of oil and then brought back as Romulan princess will also be there, as will be the always great John De Lancie, who portrayed the mischievous, conniving Q in several Star Trek series.

The Star Trek signings will be happening all weekend located around tables 20 through 25 in Autograph section. Check out the full autographing schedule here.

Con signings are always a peculiar thing. To you, it's a chance to meet the actors behind some of your favorite characters and hopefully toss out a pithy one-liner that they have never, ever heard before; but for them, it's work. It's a way to pay the bills and chat with their old castmates (assuming they all still get along). When waiting in line, remember, it is a business to them.

But you'll absolutely see me in line at some point during the Con, because that's the Reading Rainbow guy and I need his autograph to live. Be sure to follow along with all of GameNGuide's NYCC 2014 news here.
