Hyrule Warriors DLC Villain Trailers; Play As Cia, Volga And Wizzro As Part Of Master Quest Content Arriving In October [TRAILERS]

Experience Hyrule Warriors From The Other Side: Upcoming DLC Lets You Take Control Of Main Villains Cia, Volga And Wizzro

Hyrule Warriors has been out for a week now here in America and the people are loving it. The game combines the just wanton disregard for life of Dynasty Warriors with the world of Zelda into one glorious, hack 'n' slash package.

Nintendo had long been against DLC, but with the Wii U that is changing. Just a few short weeks after its launch, Hyrule Warriors is getting its first set of downloadable content. Nintendo released three new trailers highlighting the new playable characters who will be fighting alongside Link, Zelda and many others.

The new characters are some familiar faces to those who have played Hyrule Warriors and will follow them in their own side-adventure as a sort of prequel to the main story.

The first is Cia, who is not only the antagonist, but the main antagonist. She's a busty, scantily-clad sorceress, so obviously she's a villain. She wields her dark magic to wreak havoc on the enemy (or the good guys? in her opinion) and can even summon shadowy versions of Link and others to fight beside her.

Her lieutenant in the game is Volga, a man who sold his soul to Cia for strength, and the ability to turn into a dragon. Though it appears you can't just play as a dragon the whole time, as that might be a little too overpowered. His primary weapons are his spear and his nigh uncontrollable rage.

Finally, Wizzro will also be made available. The dark magic sorcerer is much like Midna, manipulating reality and sending out energy waves to distract and ultimately destroy his opponents. I have not played the game, but I would surmise that he is from Twilight world, same as Midna.

The DLC hits servers on October 16. No price for the individual pack has been announced. However, the price for the entire season pass will cost about $20, and will earn you a free Dark Link costume.
