Mordheim: City of the Damned, the latest of many Warhammer video game adaptations, is out now on Steam Early Access.

Meet The Ostrogoths, The Latest Faction In Total War: Attila

Players who participate in the Early Access will be afforded a 20% discount off the full price when the game is released the first quarter of next year. The version is on sale for $31.99.

Some of you already knew this, though. The game has reached the top of the Steam charts and is currently sitting with a Very Positive score. Warhammer fans stick together.

New Total War: Rome DLC Released And Offers Free And Paid Factions

So what do you get with the Early Access version? Mordheim "will feature hand-picked groups from the first two Warbands: the Human Mercenaries and the Skaven Clan Eshin. These two Warbands will be playable in Skirmish Exhibition mode (player versus player and player versus A.I.). These battles will be taking place on 4 different maps with various deployment types: two unique maps and two locations with procedural content." Several tutorials are also included to help players get started.

The game will be updated piece by piece until the full release in 2015.

Mordheim joins the legion of Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 titles currently available. You can download Space Hulk Ascension Edition for a more sci-fi turn based strategy experience, or get Space Wolf on your mobile device and take it with you. Or you can get Warhammer Quest, the medieval turn-based title for phones.

You can also check out Warhammer 40,000: Regicide, which will be coming soon.

Or if turn-based isn't your deal, then there's always Warhammer 40,000: Carnage. Oh, and there's also the beta for Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon to jump in.

Not to mention the decades worth of Warhammer figures you can pick up at hobby stores nationwide.

Mordheim, though, that seems pretty special. Grab it on Steam for PC today.
