Call of Cthulhu: 7th Edition Rulebook of Tabletop Game Released

Bring Some Madness Home this Holiday Season with Call of Cthulhu

Usually when a game drives you to madness it's because your friends have created a legion of house rules that no one can follow. That is not the case with Call of Cthulhu. The 7th edition rulebook of the Lovecraftian desktop roleplaying game from Chaosiam has been released just in time to drive your friends and family over the edge for the holidays.

Fantasy Flight Takes You To the Apocolypse With Four End of the World Scenerios in This Tabletop RPG

Call of Cthulhu is inspired by the mythos of H.P. Lovecraft, iconic horror author. Much like the work of Lovecraft, the game is filled with mystery, secrets and maybe just a touch of madness. Well, more than a touch of it.

You play investigators who travel through the strange and terrifying worlds of Lovecraft to discover and battle against the otherworldly horrors of the Cthulhu Mythos. All while trying to hold on to your quickly escaping sanity. Fun, right? The dangers you encounter run the gamut from poor fools previously driven mad on their failed journeys to full blown Eldritch terrors.

The Keeper Rulebook, as it is lovingly called, contains all the rules, spells, background, and of course, monsters that you need to play a full game. It is to be read by The Keeper (the guy in charge).

In addition to this book players should also have The Investigator Handbook which contains the information for character creation, skills, etc. The Keeper Rulebook comes in PDF and E-Pub formats, presumably because inking such words to page would be enough to awaken the Elder Gods from their deep slumber. And no one wants that, no matter how horrible the holiday dinner is going.
