Got 24 Hours And Need A King? This Clash Of Clans Video Will Help You Farm Dark Elixir All Day, Everyday

Supercell recently updated its popular Clash of Clans with new economy balance changes and a lower point of entry for Dark Elixir. Which is great. But what can you do with it?

Enter Galadon, GameNGuide’s favorite CoC youtuber. One of his latest videos is aimed towards all you math-heads and folks who want to get as much Dark Elixir as possible, all the better to get a Barbarian King and Queen.

In this Town Hall Level 7 video, seen below, Galadon lays out a plan of attack for maximizing your resources and getting the Barbarian King within a single 24 hour period. It will involve a lot of barracks boosting, so be sure you have plenty of gems as well as patience and a healthy level of appreciation for the BARCH assault (Barbarians and Archers). Every battle costs resources, so you have to maximize your costs against the rewards. The units you’re using don’t cost Dark Elixir (they really should not) but you can’t always just go for the DE over and over, you need to recoup your gold and normal elixir coffers every now and then, too. So don’t sweat the other collectors, they’ll at least pay out.

Though trophies are not the subject this game, it’s good to get a victory whilst resource raiding. More trophies mean more bonus resources at the end of the raid as well as a different selection in opponents to choose from. You can more easily find guys with lots of Dark Elixir if you’re paired off against villages at the appropriate level.

Mostly, the Dark Elixir raiding - or any such raiding - requires patience. Don’t attack the first thing you see, wait and scout out bases. Yes, this will cost money to do but will be well worth it in the end.

Good clashing out there, folks.
