After just four years of selling games and books in pay-what-you-want bundles, Humble Bundle has officially hit the $50 million mark for charitable donations, the company announced today, and they've released a video showing just a few of the places and causes that have been affected by Humble Bundle's outreach.

The video shows scenes from charities like Special Effect – a company that designs game controllers for disabled gamers – the relief efforts of the American Red Cross and the medical research of the American Cancer Society. All in all, Humble has provided support for more than 50 charities that are dedicated to spreading clean water, cleaning up the environment, making education accessible to populations around the world and much more,

Every time a Humble Bundle is sold, a portion of the sale goes to whichever charity or charities are featured in that particular bundle. In addition to naming their own price for the bundle, gamers can choose the distribution of their price if they want to give charities even more of a cut of the earnings. They can buy single games for often lower prices while still supporting Humble Bundle's charitable mission.
