Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris Introduces New Community Events

Maybe it’s been a while since you cracked open one of the first original Final Fantasy games on the Super Nintendo, or perhaps you’ve never experienced the sheer majesty of Final Fantasy VI. Everyone’s shutting down for the Christmas holiday, seems like you might have a lot of time on your hand.

Not to mention the wealth of non-Final Fantasy apps they have available, from Bloodmasque to Guardian Cross, The World Ends With You, a great many of the original Tomb Raider games as well as Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, and new RPG series Chaos Rings.

Yet, no matter how much they expand with new IPs, Square Enix will always be known as the company who made Final Fantasy. If the new games coast on the glory of the old, it’s only because the old games were so very, very good.

Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest and more of the classics are available at half off. See below.

Final Fantasy  – $3.99 (iOS and Android)
Final Fantasy II – $3.99 (iOS and Android)
Final Fantasy III – $7.99 (iOS Phones and Android)
Final Fantasy III For Ipad – $7.99 (iPad)
Final Fantasy IV - $7.99 (iOS and Android)

Dragon Quest II for iOS and Android is on sale for $2.99 (normally $4.99), while Dragon Quest VIII is now $12.99 (iOS and Android).

More importantly though, if you’re burned out on Final Fantasy, two of the greatest RPGs ever made are now also half off and small enough to fit in your pocket.

Chrono Trigger - which is up there with FF VII for GOAT, is now $4.99 for iOS and Android; while the beautiful Secret of Mana is $4.99 (iOS and Android).

I did the math. If you have an iPhone, you can buy every single game for less than a hundred bucks. $91 to be exact. The sale ends January 5. Good luck.
