Sixth Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate DLC Pack Revealed; Familiar Faces And An Elder Dragon Await You This Spring

Sixth Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate DLC Pack Revealed

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is not even out here in the States yet, but we’re already learning so much about its upcoming set of DLC. The sixth "episode" was detailed somewhat earlier today.

Oh Yeah, Ant-Man Is Still Totally A Film That's Happening. There's A Trailer On Tuesday

The game is scheduled for release here in the West sometime early this year for Nintendo 3DS. It is the second game of this particular generation of MH titles, and the eleventh entry into the main series overall. The original Monster Hunter 4 has seen great success in Japan already, having sold over 4 million copies as of last March.

The new DLC information comes by way of 4Gamer.net and sadly, it’s hard to make heads or tales of the Japanese text. Siliconera muddled its way through a translation. There’s a big, dangerous and very scaly problem laying siege to Dondruma: a dragon (by all accounts) and the village mayor (from Monster Hunter 2) has enlisted the help of a Hunter (that’s you) to deal with it.

A G ranking (Guild Quest) of 1 is required to take on the dragon. So make sure you’re ready, it’ll be a doozy.

We hope that the Western release will include this and the additional five DLC episodes that have already been released. Capcom has been very good about releasing new content since the game’s release in Japan back in October. The previous DLC packs have mainly included new storylines from old familiar faces from longtime fans of the Monster Hunter series.

Can’t wait to see what they have planned next.
