Daya isn't the first woman that we've seen give birth in Litchfeild, in the first season a prisoner gave birth and the trails and issues surrounding having a child behind bars is briefly touched on throughout the first two seasons. Daya's baby will be the first one that is born to a main character.

McGorry said in an interview with interview with TV Guide that, "They have different ideas about what should happen, as we've seen before, and that continues to come to a head as we get closer and closer to Month Nine."

It's not just an issue of having a baby in prison here, Bennet is a guard which carries its own issues. In season two, Daya and the other Hispanic prisoners set Pornstashe (Pablo Schreiber) up to take the fall for her pregnancy.

If this stands, then the baby will be going to him. If the ladies reveal it wasn't him after all, then Bennet will lose his job and face criminal charges for sleeping with an inmate. Bennet did confess that he was the father but with everything that's been going down in the prison, whether he'll see charges remains to be seen.

McGorry's comments seem to indicate that they will manage to skirt the law on this issue and somehow continue to raise the child themselves.

There will also be a time jump in the new season. This will give viewers less time between when the season left off and the new arrival.

Orange is the New Black comes back to Netflix in June of 2015.
