More than just catching them all, Pokemon is also known for having an excellent score. The theme song is mandatory learning for anyone who plays video games - even if they don't play Pokemon, and the music has been given the full symphonic treatment on many occasions. Now, players can enjoy the remastered mix of Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby Super Music Collection via iTunes.

The 2003 Pokemon Sapphire and Ruby not only got a major graphical update with last November's release, but the entire score was re-imagined and re-recorded by GAME FREAK's team of composers, including Junichi Masuda and Shota Kageyama.

Fun fact about the music: despite the game taking place in a world where children are encouraged to take up the wildly illegal sport of cock-fighting, the music itself was inspired by the Japanese island of Kyushu. This allowed the "composers to create a soundtrack that evokes the beauty and mystery of Hoenn and brings to life the Trainer's adventures along the way."

Additionally, "Pokémon the Series has even wider distribution today with fan-favourite episodes now available on the Amazon Fire TV media player. This adds to the numerous ways fans can follow Ash, Pikachu, and all their friends as they explore the world of Pokémon and match wits with the nefarious Team Rocket."
