World Of Tanks Blitz Patch 1.6 Update Adds British Reinforcements And New 'Castilla' Map To iOS And Android Versions [VIDEO]
Chip, chip, cheerio. Put down your tea and scrumpets, folks, the British are not only coming, they've fully arrived onto World of Tanks Blitz for both iOS and Android.
Patch 1.6 adds reinforcements to the British Steel 1.5 update and is the first major content patch to arrive onto the Android since its release back in December. The update hit the original World of Tanks then as well.
The all new British line will offer players a powerful lineup of nine iconic British heavy vehicles including the formidable Churchill, powerful Black Prince, quick-firing Conqueror, and rounding out Tier 10 with the FV215b. New Premium vehicles are now also available in the Tech Tree: Matilda BP and AT 15A.
Additionally, the update introduces the new map Castilla, which ups the total count in the game to eight. Castilla brings you to the serene Spanish countryside and has you besieging a town with a high wall and a moat, for those players who truly want to get medieval on people.
The patch also updates several minor bugs and general crashes, as well as balancing out the LTP armor. You can read the full patch notes HERE. You can watch the notes in action below in a new video released by Wargaming to mark the occasion.
World of Tanks Blitz, though it will take a chunk of space out of your phone (at least four or five game's worth!) is an impressive accomplishment for mobile devices. Best played with a MFi controller, it successfully translates the ever popular franchise from PC onto your phone. It even made our top ten list of titles for 2014!
