Competitors at Apex 2015 will continue to be eliminated throughout the day, with the games streamed live on Twitch. There are both main and secondary stream, giving you options on what matches to tune in to.
You may notice that Super Smash Bros Melee is still being used at the tournament, though there are competitions in Brawl and the Wii U version as well. The Gamecube title is considered the best, most competitive game in the series for high-end play, and the community has not yet moved on. In addition to being well-suited to competitive play, players and the community have spent years developing strategies and analyzing characters. To leave it behind would represent a radical shift in play styles, community knowledge, and an abandonment of years of strategic work.
