The Walking Dead Sneak Peek: New Video Shows Off First Two Minutes of New Season
The Walking Dead is coming back this Sunday but if you can't wait that long, then AMC has dropped the first two minutes of the first episode for you. You're welcome. (SPOILERS to follow)
The two minutes is strange, almost like a dream sequence. It's clear that it comes after the death of Beth, but not very long after, as we see the group at a funeral of sorts. We can only assume that this is the grave for Beth, as we see Maggie sobbing.
We also hear Noah and Rick talking about the possibility of a safe haven, which is rumored to be the Alexandria Safe Zone. Noah says that it's in Richmond, which is also in Virginia.
Rick then discusses this possibility with the group. They may or may not bite. Of course, from what we gather from the recent synopsis, they may not have a choice in the matter.
All in all, the two minute peek showed us a lot of what previous trailers have shown us however, in context, it appears that the group will be on the move and rather quickly. Still no Carl (Rick, seriously, where are your children?) but we do hear baby Judith in the background.
But we don't see her. There's a chance she may not make it through the season. After all, she doesn't survive the books. The zombie apocalypse is a hard place to be for anyone but I imagine that being a baby makes it even harder.
The Walking Dead comes back this Sunday at 9 on AMC. Watch the sneak peek below.
