Gentlemen, start your engines... a bit later than previously anticipated. Bandai Namco and Slightly Mad Studios have announced that their upcoming next gen racer, Project CARS, will not make the finish line on March 20, the second delay to the anticipated title.

Instead, players on PC, Xbox One and PS4 will have to wait until April 2 to begin their race. Given that the last delay for the game was roughly five months - it was originally scheduled for release last November - a less than two week delay seems like nothing at all.
"Moving a release date was not an easy decision to make, as we know our fans are eager to get their hands-on on Project CARS", said Ian Bell, Head of Studio at Slightly Mad Studios. "But we know that these extra days will allow us to provide the best game experience that our fans deserve. We assure you the wait will be worth it when the game does arrive early April".

If this trend continues, every version of Project CARS will release at the same time as the Wii U edition this November!
Players can tune into Twitch this weekend to check all new gameplay footage via Special Effect's 24-hour GameBlast LIVE event, a gaming marathon to support children with disabilities. Last year's event raised over 70,000 pounds, and you can bet they're going to raise more this year.
As part of Bandai Namco Games' contribution, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 13:00 to 14:00 p.m. (Greenwich Mean Time) on Saturday, February 21 creative director Andy Tudor and Bandai Namco Games UK's Lee Kirton will showcase the very latest PS4 build of Project CARS. The public can watch live at twitch.tv/gameblastlive.
Between 15:00 and 16:00 on the same day a third session will be streamed live from Ginx tv and in association with @gamedigital at twitch.tv/ginxtv.
